Monstra Marina
In the 80:s, a dance called The Bird Dance was pestering the dancehalls all over Europe. This is history now, thanks God. Instead we'll introduce something called The Fish Dance or, to be more exact, The Marine Monster Dance.
The participants in this new choreographic phenomenon are:
- A fish "in the exact shape of a monk".
- A bishop.
- A satyrus.
- A triton.
They all stem from a work by the 17th century author and scientist Caspar Schott. I don't know much about these creatures,
except for that the "bishop" was stranded in Denmark in the late 16th century, and probably was a shark. The appearances of
seamonsters were believed to forecast prodigous events, but I hope this won't be the case with their appearance on your screen...
